Wherever we are in our careers, we are bound to face difficult challenges and decisions. Whether that’s taking the next step, slowing down or finding a better way to cope, we have the ability to shape the work-life we want. However, many of us don’t believe in ourselves to change, or we might find that the goals we are chasing leave us unsatisfied. This often leads to distress and suffering, thinking the best is yet to come or just out of our reach. Sometimes we spent months or even years ruminating in this state without making real change.

With coaching, we can make this process of self-discovery much faster. We’ll make space to explore your challenges, transform your thinking and take steps toward your new goals - free of unhelpful judgements and limiting beliefs.

You’ll realize that you already know what to do - and are more than capable of making it happen.

Common issues we can tackle in coaching are: 

  • Wanting to make a job or career change or re-enter the workforce but struggling to follow through 

  • Having difficulties with co-workers, bosses or team members

  • Struggling with work anxieties, such as imposter syndrome

  • Feeling generally unmotivated, apathetic or plain “stuck”

Coaching can help you by:

  • Understanding or shifting your perspective on what’s really holding you back

  • Deepening your awareness of your triggers and patterns

  • Identifying and refining your true wants and needs

  • Generating the energy, confidence and accountability to follow through on your plans

Coaching is not:

  • Psychotherapy - or a replacement for psychotherapy. While it can lead to a great deal of relief, we deal with issues in the here and now. It is not meant to explore the root causes of traumas. However, it can be complementary to therapy, or a standalone pursuit.

  • Mentoring, advice-giving or forced accountability. The Co-Active Coaching principle that you are creative, resilient and whole means that you have all the abilities within you to change your mindset and circumstances. What to expect

  • In our day-to-day lives, it’s easy to get stuck in this stage. Sometimes when we vent to family and friends we get well-intentioned but unhelpful advice. Worse, you might even feel judged.

    In coaching, you’ll experience the spaciousness to dive deep into the topics your care about with curiosity instead of judgement and criticism. Together we’ll expand your understanding of the issue and define an outcome that will positively impact you.

  • Once we’ve understood the issue deeply and how it holds you back, we’ll explore alternative explanations and solutions. With creative coaching techniques, I’ll help you tune into your gut feeling and tap into your own motivatial energy.

    Be challenged to transform your thinking, realize new options, and break tired patterns of thinking.

  • Realize your potential to act and get concrete about what small steps you can take to move forward.

    At the end of each session, we’ll solidify the learnings and mark progress toward your growth goals. You’ll realize the potential for transformation on your own - long after our coaching sessions have ended.
